Zeronimo Grüner Veltliner is a truly exceptional alcohol free wine, crafted with the precision and artistry that define Austria’s most elegant whites. Produced by the Heribert Bayer family winery in Burgenland, this fine wine begins life as a classic Grüner Veltliner before being gently dealcoholised using vacuum distillation with aroma recovery; A method that preserves the delicate structure and bouquet of the original vintage. The result is a refined and expressive 0.0% white wine that embodies purity, poise and provenance. Crisp and dry yet layered with character, it reveals bright notes of green apple, white pepper and lemon zest over a graceful mineral backbone. Balanced, aromatic and beautifully composed, it captures the sophistication of Austria’s most celebrated grape in a modern, mindful form.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant pale straw in colour with silver highlights. The nose opens with fresh citrus, green apple and pear, followed by subtle herbal spice and white blossom. On the palate, it is elegant and lively with clean acidity, restrained fruit and fine minerality. Layers of citrus, melon and crushed stone develop with each sip, finishing dry, long and precise. The texture is rounded yet taut, offering all the hallmarks of a well-made Grüner Veltliner.
Food Pairings
